The intention of this course is to develop learners skills and knowledge in 5 key digital skills areas:

• Using devices and handling information
• Creating and editing
• Communicating
• Transaction
• Being safe and responsible online
Open Who is this course for
The course is designed for adults with some experience of using digital devices and the internet but lacking secure basic digital skills. The content of this qualification is based on the National standards for essential digital skills
Open Entry Requirements
• Some previous experience of using digital devices and the internet is required, (or an Entry 3 IT qualification),
• Minimum of Entry 3 qualification in reading and writing
• Access to a digital device: tablet, laptop or smartphone Prosp User 3

This is an accredited course. On successful completion, you will gain the Essential Digital Skills for Work and Life qualification at Level 1 Prosp User 4
